New unique way to see and visit Athens! Visit all the main archeological sites, the birth of democracy and western civilization and walk the places you really have interest on discovering.

Visiting Athens starts with Acropolis hill. On the historical hill, you will also see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the monumental gateway (Propylaea), the Erechtheum and of course the famous Parthenon.

Just next to Acropolis, you can also visit the Aeropagitou Hill, where Saint Paul spoke to Athenians, the Filoppapou Hill to see the amazing views and the Prision of Socrates, and the Pnyx Hill where the Athenians gathered to host their popular assemblies, thus making the hill one of the earliest and most important sites in the creation of democracy.

After we will pass by Thissio neighbourhood for a quick of the amazing views of this area, to head towards the Ancient Agora, its Museum and the Temple of Hephasteus, the best-preserved temple in Greece standing largely as built.

After that, we will pass by Psiri and the Central Market of Athens.

Stop at the National Archaeological Museum, considered one of the greatest museums in the world and contains the richest collection of artifacts from Greek antiquity worldwide.

Next, we will drive to Syntagma Square, to see the Evzones guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier just in front of the Greek Parliament that used to be the old Kings Palace. As continuation we will drive thru the Panepistimiou Street one of the most historical streets of Athens to see numerous neoclassical buildings dating back to the late 19th century but more importantly we’ll see the architectural trilogy of Athens (The Academy – The University – The National Library). Then we will drive up the highest hill of Athens, Lycabettus Hill, where you’ll have the best panoramic view of the city.

After this it would be a good moment to stop for a break at a Greek traditional taverna, (lunch not included in price).

After Lycabettus Hill, we will visit the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. And following the temple of Zeus, with the Hadrian’s Arch just in front of one of the main entrances to Plaka, and Monastiraki, the two historically old neighborhoods of Athens, inside Plaka you will also visit the Roman Agora and the Tower Of The Winds as the huge Hadrian's Library, and in Monastiraki the well knowed Flea Market of Monastriaki.

And towards the end we will go to the New Acropolis Museum. A brand new museum opened in 2009 to host all the findings that have been excavated on the hill of Acropolis and its slopes also known as the museum of the senses. It is counted as one of the best museums in the world.

By visiting Athens with us you will have seen the real life that surrounds Athens, and met real people and places that show the day to day life of an Athenian. We are willing to show you the Greece we know and love, as a traveller and a friend, avoiding all the tourist traps.
